Lawn edging
Both lawn packages include edging the lawn borders.

Aeration and scarification
Aeration helps a lawn reach its full potential by improving drainage and nutrient and oxygen availability. Scarification removes organic matter build up (known as thatch) from lawns and helps grass flourish by letting more sunlight and nutrients reach the soil. It also clears more space for grass to grow, improves air circulation, and prevents diseases. Plus, it makes the lawn more resilient to drought and pests and generally look healthier.

Top-dressing
Top-dressing is usually completed after aeration or overseeding to speed up your lawn recovery. It involves applying a special mix of topsoil and sand to the grassed area.

Moss and weed control and nutrient application
Our 2-in-1 moss control and fertiliser application can be added to either the premier or standard lawn maintenance packages. The fertiliser ensures a lush, green lawn with no patches of poor growth due localised soil nutrient deficiencies.

When the moss has turned black, affected areas are raked and dead moss is removed, and lawn seed is applied if necessary (see Overseeding below).

Alternatively, if your lawn is already moss-free, we can add fertiliser without the moss control treatment.

Overseeding
Overseeding addresses patchiness and boosts the health of your lawn and is often carried out after moss and weeds have been removed, which can cause bare patches. Overseeding will give your lawn a thicker, denser sward, as well as reducing weed and moss invasion.
